Website
Static Website
A static
website is such whose content can not be changed without the
web master or the programmer’s request.
This type
of website generally delivers the same information to all
visitors, that is why the information is static. Likewise to
handling out a printed presentation to customers or clients,
a static website will generally render consistent, standard
information for a large span of time.
Dynamic website
Dynamic content is such whose
content can be changed depending upon the end user’s input
(user, time, database modifications, etc.). Instead, the web
page material alters automatically and instantly based on
certain criteria. It generally collects information each
time a page is fetched.
A website can be dynamic in two ways. The first is that the
web page code is build dynamically from root level. The
second is that the web page content delivered varies based
on certain criteria. The criteria can be system-defined
rules or may be based on variable user input.
This type of website generally
delivers numerous information based on the visitor, thus the
information is dynamic. Just like as if it is talking to the
customer service over telephone, a dynamic website will
offer secured, real-time information |
